Luxury Coastal Property Encourages Visitors to Experience Barmouth All Year Round

The Belmont Barmouth has launched new midweek stay options tailored to smaller groups, aiming to highlight the quiet beauty of the Welsh coast outside the summer season.

Situated on Marine Parade, the nine-bedroom Art-Deco beachfront property is playing a key role in promoting Barmouth as a destination that can be enjoyed throughout the year.

By offering flexible bookings for groups of 4–12 during midweek periods, The Belmont Barmouth encourages guests to enjoy a slower, more peaceful seaside atmosphere while supporting independent local businesses through the autumn and winter.

From just £83 per person per night (based on a group of six staying three nights between October and March), visitors can enjoy exclusive use of this stunning beachfront property, complete with a private cinema room, games room, and panoramic sea and mountain views – all directly across the road from Barmouth’s golden sands and a short stroll to its shops, bars, and restaurants.

Tucked along Marine Parade, The Belmont has become a sought-after stay for families, friends, and celebration groups seeking space, luxury, and connection. The lovingly restored 1920s Art-Deco home sleeps up to 18 guests, pairing its period character with modern indulgence – from a fully equipped kitchen and dining for 18 to a games room and 85-inch cinema screen for movie nights.

Yet it’s also the new off-peak midweek stays that are turning heads — offering the chance to experience the town’s tranquil charm outside of peak season, when coastal walks are quieter, sunsets linger longer, and the warm welcome from local cafés, pubs, and boutiques feels even more personal.

“We wanted to give smaller groups the chance to enjoy The Belmont’s full experience without needing a big celebration or a summer crowd,” explains owner Liz Davis. “Barmouth has such a special atmosphere in autumn and winter — dog walks on empty beaches, cosy pub evenings, and incredible coastal light. It’s the perfect time to slow down.”

The Belmont welcomes up to three dogs, making it ideal for guests who want to explore the coast with their four-legged friends. The house’s flexible layout — including convertible super-king beds and generous communal spaces — makes it equally suited to couples’ retreats, family reunions, or friends’ getaways.

Midweek stays (Monday to Thursday, 3-night minimum) are available outside school holidays, with flexible group pricing by season and size. The aim is simple: to make luxury coastal living more accessible while supporting Barmouth’s growing year-round tourism movement.

Recent guest Claire E. from her November 2025 stay said: “The WOW factor doesn’t really do the Belmont justice. Fantastic house, beautifully restored to show it in all its glory. A lovely weekend enjoyed by family, extended family and friends. The pool tournament got very competitive!”
