New North Wales holiday resort to open this spring

The largest holiday park provider in Wales is opening a brand new luxury resort and spa this spring. Lyons Holiday Parks bought Dyserth Falls holiday park (formerly Graig Park) in 2019 nine months after the previous owner went into liquidation.

Refurbishment began in March 2021 and was slated to take three years due to the level of investment required. Work is now nearing completion after a huge investment – with CGI images released showing how the finished site will look.

It will throw open its gates in April with the new resort named Marian Resort & Spa, after the Marian Mills of Dyserth. The site will have 80 lodges and luxury hot tub lodges, including some accessible units.

The on-site spa will have treatments, an indoor swimming pool with sky views, sauna and steam room with hydrotherapy bucket shower, and a fully equipped brand-new 24 hour health and leisure club, also open for memberships.

There will be a lounge bar that overlooks the pool, a cocktail bar, an all-day sports bistro, and a modern dining experience at VIEW Restaurant with seasonal Welsh produce.

The company has spent £2 million on the site and is looking to recruit 100 workers – from chefs to housekeepers and gardening and maintenance staff.
