Stacey Solomon’s luxurious trip hit a snag after she ended up in hospital.
The Loose Women panellist, 34, jetted her family out to Jamaica and everyone got a right fright after she was rushed to A&E.
She posted a video detailing the hospital saga to her fans saying that it all started to go downhill the day before they were due to fly home.
Stacey explained she started to feel sick but initially thought she just had a dose of the flu but her sister was there to save the day.
‘So my sister comes into the room and I know it’s serious when my sister comes in. Because she’s a nurse she’s very much like you’re fine unless you’re not fine and then she’ll be like hold on a second,’ she said.
It got serious as her temperature kept rising and her sister called the medical team in their hotel.
In the clip, she said: ‘The nurse came down and took one look at me and put an oxygen mask on.
‘She was covering me in wet towels and my temperature was still too high so she literally said she needs to get to the hospital and get some IV antibiotics and fluids in her and tests. So yeah I ended up in hospital,’ Stacey shared.
The TV star continued: ‘So anyway the IV and everything went in and I did start to feel instantly so much better. Still rough as hell but way better than what I was.
‘We were there from the night before we were meant to leave until the morning and I was obviously like, “Please let me go home, I don’t want to stay here on my own when I’m not well, just let me get home.”‘
Thankfully, she is on the mend and doctors allowed her to return home. She said: ‘So I did the flight home. Poor Joe had all the kids for 10 hours!
‘And I literally went to sleep as soon as I got home and today is the first day I’ve started to feel like a normal human again,’ the mum-of-five concluded.
This comes after Stacey she was accused of ‘flaunting her wealth’ by whisking her family away on holidays.
She surprised 20 of her family members by taking them away over the Christmas break.
Stacey’s fans were quick to come to her defence saying that she has worked hard to get to where she is today and should be allowed to enjoy quality time with her family.
