Outdoor Adventure

Take time to explore the great outdoors and take in some of the best views in Texas. Enchanted Rock State Natural Area provides hiking trails for all abilities. Head to the summit for 360-degree views of the Texas Hill Country. Be sure to plan ahead by making reservations up to 30 days in advance to guarantee entry and bring plenty of water.

There are several other outdoor opportunities to explore in Fredericksburg. Learn about native plants on the nature trail at Lady Bird Johnson Municipal Park, or watch the sunset while enjoying a picnic at Cross Mountain.

Looking to cool off? Fredericksburg is home to several outdoor swimming pools and a brand-new splash pad.

Texas Wine Country

Fredericksburg is home to Texas Wine Country. With over 50 wineries and tasting rooms, there is something for everyone’s taste. Sip on dry reds, crisp and cool whites and refreshing rosés while taking in scenic views, listening to live music or just enjoying the company of those around you.

Leave the planning and driving to someone else and opt for a wine tour or shuttle.
