The Portuguese legend has been left out of his side’s squad for the friendly match against Sweden and Ronaldo is using the time to recharge his batteries as he enjoys a mini-vacation on Saudi Arabian shores with his family.

For the unversed, the talismanic forward was named in Portugal‘s initial 32-man squad for the friendly against Sweden by coach Roberto Martinez, however, the Al Nassr superstar has been given a much-deserved break along with fellow stars such as Diogo Dalot, Joao Cancelo, Danilo Pereira, Otavio, Ruben Neves, Vitinha and Joao Felix.
The Portuguese side will face Sweden on March 21, however many star names will be missing from the game. Ronaldo and Co. are then expected to square off against Slovenia on March 26. The key players are all set to return for the final game before the European Championship 2024 begins in the summer.
