Fans of the Today show’s Dylan Dreyer are rejoicing over a sweet family photo the meteorologist shared from a special family ski trip.
Dreyer, 42, and her two older brothers, James and Mike, took their first-ever vacation alone as siblings, according to a March 14 Instagram post. The ski trip was special for another reason: The siblings used it to celebrate James as he turned 50.
“It took 50 years, but me and my brothers are on vacation just the 3 of us!!” Dreyer wrote in a caption accompanying her four-photo Instagram carousel, adding that there is “no better reason to celebrate” than her older brother’s milestone birthday.
Dreyer then revealed that Mike, a U.S. Air Force veteran who lost one of his legs in a work accident after he served, was the mastermind behind their destination.
“It was my other brother (the one with one leg) who thought a ski trip would be the best idea,” she wrote. “He actually built and brought his own ski foot! We’ll see how this goes!”
Dreyer and her brothers posed for selfies in front of what appeared to be a resort in the first two photos that she included in her post, with the second also showing some nearby ski slopes. The third photo featured a delicious birthday dessert for James, and the fourth showed Mike grinning as he held up the ski foot he brought along to use on their trip.
Fans were thrilled to see Dreyer spending time with her brothers, with one person writing that they “are making memories for a lifetime.”
“That’s so great that you three are so close,” one Instagram user wrote. Another agreed, writing, “The love you share with your siblings is heartwarming!”
Several fans pointed out that Dreyer and her brothers look a lot alike—especially when it comes to their smiles.
“You all have the.exact.same.smiles! Especially with the dimples, so sweet,” one fan gushed.
“Love your ‘lookalike’ smiles and beautiful teeth,” wrote another fan, who added that they hoped Dreyer and her siblings were having “a blast.”
Others drew sweet parallels between Dreyer’s childhood and the time she spends now mothering three young sons. Just last month, Dreyer shared how her own children reacted to ski lessons during her family of five’s first ski vacation.
“You already knew how to be a boy mom,” one fan praised her.
