We’ve rounded up the five best-rated holiday parks in the UK, and they all have a rating of 4 or above on TripAdvisor.

From holiday parks nestled in rural locations to award-winning coastal destinations along the shores of Devon and Cornwall, there are options for everyone.

So, whether you’re seeking a tranquil lodge with a hot tub or a caravan, stay in a busy park filled with activities; one of these parks should suit the vibe you’re going for.

Here are the five top-rated holiday parks on Breakfree, a holiday company specialising in holiday parks, cottages and lodges:

1. Haven – Devon Cliffs, Devon

With more than 4,000 reviews and 4/5 stars on TripAdvisor, Haven’s Devon Cliffs Park takes the top spot in 2024.

Sitting on Sandy Bay’s sun-kissed coast, Devon Cliffs is one of Haven’s biggest parks and is great for any traveller, from families to groups of mates and couples.

The holiday park offers two outdoor swimming pools for when the sun is shining and a massive indoor pool for those rainy days.

The indoor pool is also packed with activities, with a shallow play area for little ones, four waterslides, water jets and flumes.

Entertainment doesn’t end with the pools, though, as there are two massive venues hosting activities and shows all year round.

Bugsy’s hosts kid-friendly activities during the day, family entertainment in the evening and bingo nights for those over 18.

Meanwhile, Capone’s is your go-to place for live music, games and shows.

Other activities include an arcade, soft play areas, mini golf, bungee trampoline and pottery workshops, to name a few.

2. Haven – Perran Sands, Cornwall

Another one from Haven is Perran Sands, which is on the picturesque Cornish coast and steps away from the beach.

Thanks to its prime location in one of the UK’s top surfing hotspots, you could spend your days learning how to surf or just relaxing on the beach.

When it comes to the facilities at the park, there is an indoor and outdoor pool – and they are both heated.

The outdoor pool is connected to the indoor one through a lazy river, so little ones will love drifting along on inflatable rings.

Away from the water, you’ll find an arcade, indoor soft play area and many activities.

Guests’ favourite activities include crazy golf, the multi-sport court, the “Sports Range”, and karting.

If you’re not keen on sports, there are also many workshops like pottery painting and slime creations.

3. Park Holidays – Sandhills, Dorset

Smaller and more relaxed than other parks, Sandhills is ideal for anyone who wants to escape the busyness of daily life.

The holiday park is perched among the trees on Christchurch’s beach, so you’ll find views over the English Channel.

Although there is plenty to do on-site, guests could also take a quick coastal drive to Bournemouth to visit a bigger beach or shop around.

The holiday park features an outdoor pool and a small – but “well-designed” – bar area.

During the weekend, the bar also hosts evening entertainment.

Sandhills is also the highest rated of the bunch, with 4.5/5 stars on TripAdvisor.

Guests have called it a “magical place to stay”, “outstanding” and the “perfect location for a break”.

Burnham also says to have entertainment all day, with shows, quizzes and games.

There’s plenty to keep kids entertained, too, with outdoor play areas, arcades,
