Jet2 has expanded its holiday packages from Manchester Airport to Porto this summer following a strong demand from holidaymakers. It comes after the airline announced in January that it was bringing the launch date forward for the new route from Manchester to the Portuguese city.
Holidaymakers can now book onto Jet2CityBreaks Discover More packages to Porto, which cater to those looking for a ‘discovery-based experience holiday’. The packages from Manchester Airport, which are now on sale for this summer and the 2025 season, include an ‘enchanting’ Douro Valley wine tour.
The full day wine tour features a visit to an estate port wine producer where holidaymakers will be able to savour the flavours of three local wines. Then holidaymakers will move on to Quinta port wine producer for lunch before exploring the vineyards and enjoying a second wine tasting, and finally rounding off the day with a leisurely Rabelo boat cruise in Pinhão.

Flights from Manchester to Porto will begin on July 4 this summer, with Jet2 and Jet2CityBreaks operating two weekly services, on Thursday and Sunday from then until November 3. Flights will then resume in summer 2025.
